regardless of how careful we are, we will cause some suffering as a side-effect of living. the goal is to avoid unnecessary suffering and to minimize the suffering we cause.
this question is an issue for the individual conscience to decide. as long as, you are not torching a congregation of ants for pleasure.
As far as ants are not pest and thay cause no harm to human, I find no reason to walk on the ants for whatever reason.
回覆刪除Right from the moment I start thinking, I have already been killing lots of my brain cells, though they sooner or later will die even if I stop thinking at all. To think, or not to think, that is the question. 做乜諗嘢呢(why killing brain cells)？唔諗得唔得(why not stop killing brain cells and just let them die)？Is the distinction between killing brain cells and letting brain cells die morally significant in the case of thinking and, if so, how and why?
